Harrow Beauty Pictures, a boutique video production company, was started in 1999 by Paul Schattel.
A writer-director, Paul has made two award winning feature films (Sinkhole and Alison) and has several more in development. Originally trained as a journalist, Paul moved into directing features and commercials in order to realize his vision onscreen. Since then, he and Harrow Beauty have won an array of awards — from Best Narrative Feature, Best Director and Best Screenplay at festivals around the US and the world, to advertising and marketing awards like Addy’s, Webby’s, and even Wallie’s (which serves the medical industry).
With literally hundreds of successful commercial projects completed in nearly 15 years of professional service, Paul enjoys taking his clients’ vision and making it a reality. Experienced, professional, creative, fun — Paul makes sure his clients are completely satisfied, every time.
Paul has also lectured and taught classes in directing, screenwriting, acting and video editing in university settings across the Sutheast, as well as in NYC and Los Angeles.
